MobLand Recap: The Mob War Erupts at Home as Seraphina Faces Danger in Antwerp
The brutal car bombing that closed last week’s episode of MobLand made one thing clear: Richie’s wife, Vron, was targeted—and taken out—just for starting her beloved sports car.
Episode 6, titled “Antwerp Blues,” opens in the smoky aftermath. Vron’s scorched car is surrounded by police and paramedics, while a shattered Richie (Geoff Bell) sits on his couch, weeping beneath family photos. On the scene, Detectives Fisk (Luke Mably) and Mukasa examine the wreckage. Fisk grimly declares that war between the Harrigans and the Stevensons has officially begun.
Meanwhile, Harry (Tom Hardy) gets a call from Zosia (Jasmine Jobson): Donnie, who’s been trying to track him down, is sniffing around her garage again. Donnie’s boss, Kat McAllister, has a proposal. But Harry brushes it off—he has more pressing problems. Namely, getting his family to safety after Richie’s thug Freddie delivers the news of Vron’s death.
Harry gathers Jan (Joanne Froggatt), who’s at a café with her new confidante—who also happens to be a mole for Fisk—Alice (Emily Barber). Then he pulls daughter Gina (Teddie Allen) straight from her school exam, much to her fury. The family heads to the Harrigan estate for an emergency summit.
At the mansion, Kevin (Paddy Considine) suspects his mother Maeve (Helen Mirren) orchestrated the bombing. But at the meeting, Conrad (Pierce Brosnan) claims responsibility, saying Richie disrespected him at Tommy’s funeral and had to be punished.
Then Richie calls. Conrad puts him on speaker, and the mob boss’s taunts escalate quickly—he vows to send his dogs to feast on Vron’s remains. Eddie (Anson Boon) joins the call, gleefully confessing to Tommy’s murder and mocking his victim’s final moments.
But Conrad’s focus shifts when Harry questions the whereabouts of Seraphina (Mandeep Dhillon) and Brendan (Daniel Betts). They’re missing. A quick investigation reveals they’ve fled with cash and chartered a private boat to Antwerp.
Upstairs, Jan and Bella (Lara Pulver) numb their anxiety with pills and liquor, fearing they may meet the same fate as Vron. Harry interrupts to inform Jan he’s heading to Antwerp. He also privately asks Bella to stall her deal with Antoine until Richie is dealt with—she agrees, reluctantly.

In Antwerp, Seraphina and Brendan are setting up a deal involving a priceless ruby. With large sums and high stakes in play, Seraphina calls in Lorenzo, a trusted security professional, to oversee the exchange.
Back home, Conrad awkwardly tries to bond with Gina, who later pleads with her mother to run away from the criminal chaos—with or without Harry. Jan doesn’t answer, instead hugging her daughter tightly.
Things grow darker when Maeve confronts Conrad about Seraphina meddling in family finances. She coldly suggests that losing Seraphina wouldn’t be a great tragedy. After Conrad storms off, Maeve receives a visit from Eddie and delivers a sinister lesson on sacrifice using chess as a metaphor.
Then, in a stunning twist, Maeve calls Richie herself. She plays nice, invokes old memories, and offers him Seraphina’s location—on one condition: Brendan must be spared. Richie agrees and immediately dispatches his Mexican enforcers to Antwerp.
Harry, flying via Conrad’s private chopper, touches down in Belgium. At Seraphina and Brendan’s hotel, he finds Lorenzo’s business card. Harry calls and reaches Brendan, who’s enraged at the idea of returning home mid-deal. Sensing danger, Seraphina discreetly texts her location to Harry.
Harry steals a motorcycle and races to the warehouse where the ruby deal is unfolding—but Richie’s hitmen have a head start.
Inside the warehouse, tension hangs thick as both sides’ gunmen supervise the deal. Just as Brendan seals the agreement with a handshake, the lights go out. Chaos erupts.
Gunfire tears through the room. Lorenzo is among the many casualties. Seraphina and Brendan dive for cover—but they’re quickly cornered by Richie’s assassins. Seraphina remains calm and defiant. Brendan, terrified, begs for mercy… and wets himself.
In the final moments, Iggy Pop’s “Lust for Life” blares as Harry speeds through the streets on his stolen bike—racing against time toward another violent showdown.
