Noelle Lambert, known for her time on Survivor, narrowly missed out on a bronze medal at the 2024 Summer Paralympic Games in Paris. Competing in the T63 women’s long jump event, Lambert finished in fourth place, with Vanessa Low of Australia taking gold, Martina Caironi of Italy earning silver, and Elena Kratter of Switzerland clinching bronze.

The T63 classification is for athletes who use a lower limb prosthesis. Lambert, who lost her left leg in a 2016 moped accident, aimed to surpass the 5.46-meter T63 world record set by Caironi in June 2022. At the U.S. Paralympic Team Trials in July, Lambert made history as the first American T63 woman to jump over 5 meters, achieving a 5.06-meter leap on her second attempt.

Previously, Lambert competed as a sprinter at the postponed 2020 Tokyo Paralympic Games, placing sixth in the 100-meter sprint and setting a new American record. She is scheduled to compete in the 100 meters on Saturday.

In addition to her athletic achievements, Lambert appeared on Survivor 43 in 2022, where she finished in eighth place. Her time on the show included a memorable moment when she crossed a narrow balance beam using only one leg. Reflecting on her experience, Lambert shared with EW, “I was looking at it and thinking, ‘There’s no way I can do this.’ It was emotional to show vulnerability and have the support of strangers.”

Lambert’s departure from Survivor came alongside fellow Paralympian and fan favorite Ryan Medrano, who recently won two silver medals at the 2024 Games in the men’s 100-meter T38 and 400-meter T38 events. Medrano credited Lambert with inspiring him to pursue the Paralympics. “She encouraged me to run in the Paralympics after we were both eliminated,” Medrano told the Texas Standard. “She opened the door for me, helping make my journey possible. Without her, I would have remained just a Survivor contestant, not a Paralympian.”
