You will need only Worsted weight yarn and size US 8 needles. The finished sweater measures 23 inches wide, 20 inches long, and 8 inches deep.

To make the sweater, begin by knitting the body of the sweater using Worsted weight yarn. You will need to cast on 104 stitches. Next, begin working the ribbing pattern as follows: K1, P1 ribbing for 2 inches. Change to Seed stitch and work for another 2 inches. Next, increase your stitches by 6 by working a k2tog tbl over each stitch (106 stitches). Finally, decrease your stitches by 6 by working a k2tog tbl over each stitch (100 stitches).

Next, start working the yoke of the sweater using Worsted weight yarn. Cast on 36 stitches and work in seed stitch for 3 inches. Change to regular knit and work in stockinette stitch for 9 more inches. Next, increase your stitches by 4 by working a k2tog tbl over each stitch (40 stitches).
