The Sheff Weds English Football League champions, Sheffield Wednesday, celebrated their title triumph in style on Friday night with an ‘Ugly Sweater’ Ceremony. The night started with a reception at the Hallamshire Hotel where variously-clad supporters posed for photos and munched on canapés.

Then it was off to Owlerton Stadium where the players and coaching staff donned their festive garb for a photo call before getting down to some serious celebrating in front of the TV cameras. Finally, there was a champagne-fuelled party in the Nevilles Suite at the Hallamshire which went on until well into the early hours of Saturday morning. The Sheffield Wednesday Football Club is an English professional association football club based in Sheffield, South Yorkshire. Wednesday plays in League One, the third tier of English football.
