Beth Confronts Jamie in Intense Yellowstone Showdown
“Seeing me will be the last thing you ever do alive.”
Beth Dutton (Kelly Reilly) has always had her suspicions, but now she has the confirmation she’s been seeking.
In the tense tenth episode of Yellowstone‘s final season, news of John Dutton’s (Kevin Costner) death begins to spread. Already suspecting her brother Jamie (Wes Bentley) might be behind their father’s apparent “suicide,” Beth heads straight to Jamie’s office, determined to confront him.
Her suspicions intensify when Jamie can’t meet her gaze — even as she slaps him multiple times. She challenges him, asking, “Why can’t you look at me, Jamie?” and then follows up with, “We both know why, don’t we?”
Jamie remains silent, refusing to look her in the eye, so Beth delivers a chilling final warning: “Next time is the last time. Seeing me will be the last thing you ever do alive. I swear to God, Jamie, I will be the last thing on this planet your rotten f—ing eyes will ever see.” Before she leaves, she adds one final, ominous line: “And I will be smiling.”
After leaving Jamie’s office, Beth confronts Sarah (Dawn Olivieri) in the hallway, throwing her to the ground in a show of anger. Beth then calls her brother Kayce (Luke Grimes), informing him of Jamie’s betrayal. Kayce responds by reaching out to an old contact to see if there are any organizations currently taking people out for hire.
Meanwhile, Jamie reveals his plan to run for governor. Sarah, pleased with this turn of events, tells him, “You’ve won, Jamie.”
For now, at least.
Yellowstone airs Sundays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Paramount Network.
