Parvati Shallow took the stage in a surprising new look Monday night at a New York City club, transforming into Survivor and Traitors star Boston Rob Mariano with a little help from RuPaul’s Drag Race alum Jan Sport.

Shallow, known for her iconic Survivor appearances, went all out in a drag king persona, rocking a black tank top, red basketball shorts, sneakers, and a Boston Red Sox cap to channel the infamous Survivor villain at Brooklyn’s 3 Dollar Bill.

The evening kicked off with Shallow alone on stage, performing a remixed version of “Shallow,” the Oscar-winning song from A Star Is Born by Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga. As Shallow lip-synced, Jan Sport, standing offstage, deepened her voice to mimic Boston Rob’s iconic accent, creating a playful and engaging dynamic.

Jan even gave a cheeky twist to the lyrics, changing “and in the bad times, I fear myself” to “and in the bad times, I fear Jeff Probst,” in a nod to the Survivor host.

When Jan finally took the stage dressed as Parvati Shallow in drag, the duo performed the song’s chorus together, with Jan singing, “It’s Parvati Shallow now!” The crowd cheered in excitement.

The event was a special performance attended by several Survivor alumni, including Ethan Zohn, Andy Rueda, Ben Katzman, Brandon Donlon, Teeny Chirichillo, Mitch Guerra, Kellie Nalbandian, and Stephanie Berger.

The performance at 3 Dollar Bill was part of an event to promote Shallow’s memoir, Nice Girls Don’t Win, where she has been candid about her personal struggles. Shallow previously told Entertainment Weekly she delved deep into sensitive topics, including financial struggles, cancer, divorce, and even queer sex. “A lot of the things I talk about in the book are sort of off-limits taboo topics,” she explained, aiming to create an “embodied experience” for readers.

The night featured other drag performances from New York City stars Reese Havoc, Mariyea, and Petti Cash, with Shallow’s unique turn as Boston Rob taking center stage.
