BLACKPINK Celebrates 7th Anniversary of Debut With a Special Quiz

Seven years ago, the world welcomed BLACKPINK into the K-pop arena. Today, they’re one of the most celebrated girl groups in the genre. In a recent video shared on August 8th, members Jennie, Jisoo, Lisa, and Rosé decided to commemorate their journey by taking a quiz about their own group.
Jisoo started by saying, “In honor of our 7th debut anniversary, we’ve decided to challenge ourselves with a BLACKPINK quiz. While I believe we might outscore BLINKs (their fans),” Jennie chimed in with, “I won’t be surprised if BLINKs outdo us.”
Before diving into the quiz, Jisoo confessed having seen the questions beforehand, thinking they were quite tough. This revelation led to playful banter among the members, with Jennie jokingly saying, “Did you peek? That’s an automatic -10 points for you!”
However, having that sneak peek didn’t help Jisoo much. All the members, including her, found it challenging to recall specific fan chants for songs like “Lovesick Girls” and “Kill This Love.”
Jisoo humorously remarked after a section, “It felt like we were taking an English exam!”
Despite tricky questions like determining the order in which their debut was announced on YG’s official platforms and summing up their birthdates, Rosé managed to shine by the quiz’s end after initially struggling.
The video wrapped up on a heartfelt note. Lisa reflected on their ongoing world tour and the energy they receive from their fans, “Meeting BLINKs on stage has been so energizing. Sharing these moments with them has been truly special. Thank you, BLINKs, for your unwavering support since our debut. Let’s cherish our bond for years to come.”

Rosé also expressed her sentiments, “The spontaneous encounters with BLINKs after long intervals are the most heartwarming. The pandemic limited our interactions, and the few times we did meet, I was overwhelmed with emotions. It’s always a joy to reconnect with our BLINKs.””
