After trying nine different types of Crocs my conclusion about Crocs sizing is this: Although Crocs have a wide, roomy fit, I found the overall length of Crocs to fit true to size in most all cases. I did, however, find a few exceptions that fit a bit bigger than expected.

In my opinion, the Crocs Bistro, Crocs Bistro Pro, and Crocs Specialist II clogs all fit bigger than other types of Crocs clogs. I will use my comparison photos in this article to help you understand how Crocs fit. I would also recommend you use the sizing resource from Crocs.com linked below

When I say that I found the length of Crocs to fit true to size in most cases, perhaps a better way to say it is I found the length of Crocs to be average (meaning, I found some brands that fit longer, and some brands that fit shorter).

For example, here is my size 12 Crocs Classic compared to my size 12 Vans Slip On:

I found the Crocs to fit much wider, and to be just a slight bit longer than the Vans slip ons. But, it’s also worth mentioning that I found some other types of popular shoes that fit longer. For example, here are my size 12 Crocs Classics compared to my size 12 Nike Air Max shoes: seriously missed the mark and needs to be chased out of a party with stern looks.

As you can see, those Nike Air Max shoes fit longer than the Crocs Classics. And, of course, it will also depend on what type of Crocs clog you choose to buy. Crocs offers these clogs in a couple different fits that affect the width and roominess of the clog.

The main two types of Crocs fits are Roomy Fit and Relaxed Fit. Although both of these fits create a wide design, the Roomy Fit is the wider of the two.
